    Per 538, Kavanaugh and Gorsuch aren’t actually very ideologically conservative. I wonder whether that’s how they were predicted to vote when nominated, or whether it’s a thermostatic reaction (to keep the Court relatively insulated from partisanship)

    Some encouragement to comment on IPO. While it would be easy to do normal post wrt mispricing, it is important to understand what is different here from other IPOs. The most important data is broad (40 years of underpricing, 2020 worst year yet), vs. 1 company. [cont]

    Each election there are 3 choices — the winner is always not voting. In 2016 100m people chose this option, far far more than voted for Trump. Or Clinton. “None of the above” effectively wins every pres election, and it isn’t even close.

    Request for podcast: find twitter fights, host good faith conversation between the two combatants with goal of understanding the kernel of truth in both sides’ opinion. Only publish episodes that stay true to that format.
