Just watched the sci fi movie "Annihilation". A very profound, horrific, and beautiful metaphor for awakening. I won't give any spoilers, just watch it if interested!

I might have to do a podcast or an article unpacking the whole thing. It was one of the most colorful and interesting depictions of the awakening process I had seen in a movie.
I can see many parallels, but was it a deliberate depiction? I not so sure. I’m sure your unpacking would be very interesting, all the same.
