I was reliably informed that this amounts to the same realisation, but might prevent people getting stuck in 'self-denial' prior to seeing the truth of no-self. eg: "Once you've seen it, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference one way or another - because it's fucking obvious."
I have a lot more practice to do before I can talk with any personal authority - but this is something I've been reflecting on after reading @euvieivanova's megathread. Alas, reflecting is not seeing.
