I hate to fly in the face of what a lot of smart people think (ok, not really) but nothing I've ever seen or read from Jiddu Krishnamurti made any sense whatsoever, or was profound in the least.

Interestingly, I used to have the same experience of Chogyam Trungpa's writing. Several years later I checked it out again and found his early work to be insanely brilliant. This doesn't mean I'll ever think Jiddu Krishnamurti's teachings are worth a damn though.

Worth checking back every few years. Trungpa books grow new chapters over time. Or at least that’s my theory. “Whoa, I’ve read this three times and I’m SURE I would remember this amazing insight if I had read it before!”

I had this happen recently. Reorganising library, opened a Trungpa book, promptly got slapped across the face.
