I hate to fly in the face of what a lot of smart people think (ok, not really) but nothing I've ever seen or read from Jiddu Krishnamurti made any sense whatsoever, or was profound in the least.

Shinzen was making the point that not all people with a deep awakening are good @ teaching it to others. He would use JK as the prime example. His point is that while it’s true that there’s nothing to get and nowhere to go, you still have to give people something to hang onto.

And its a fact that JK did not bring even one student to awakening — although he inspired thousands. Most people ended up going to teachers who were less theoretical and more practical.

Yup. Man could not teach. I love reading his speeches, but when I read them before awakening, they were useless to me.

@OortCloudAtlas might be better to speak to this. There are a few things that seem to qualify as enlightened. Some people seem sure that "one" of them is enlightenment, I am not. But I am not as advanced as many others.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
