I agree. It’s tremendously human and tender, it opens our eyes and ears to to poetry of being incarnate. And yet, there’s also strange paradox in longing - it can be freeing and it can trap you, like any emotion.
Q:If you had a choice, would you swap longing for anything else? Such as fulfilment? Cohen: Well...whats fulfilment got to offer?
