This is an important point that also addresses the criticism of Peterson that he calls things ‘postmodern’ that plainly are not PoMo. A move towards something like metamodernism is perhaps the only sensible option at this point. Absorb the insights, and move between Mo & PoMo.

Yeah I would largely agree with that. I don’t know if David has talked about the ‘metamodernism’ project explicitly, but there is significant crossover IMO.
