4) You “attained Enlightenment” could you say some more about how you define that, how it unfolded, how it compares to other definitions?
PS: Thanks for your answers. I was happy to hear you healed from PTSD. I sincerely hope you’re teaching your students properly.

Those are a lot of questions. Maybe we should set up a time to talk? The enlightenment story alone will take a ton of tweets. Phone, Skype, Google Hangout all work for me.

I have one question: What the hell, Todd? You're ripping people off.

What makes you say that? If I were an auto mechanic and you came to me, would you not get a bill for my time and expertise? I'm not a monk anymore. But I'll help you work through this predisposition and speculation phase at no charge if you want.

and I quote: "Some mentors may be certified instructors who charge hourly fees" You did not become enlightened to "return" and hand out meditation certificates for $250 to benefit others. You didn't learn that model from forest monks or by "studying zen in your spare time

First off, I can't go door to door in the US for alms if I want to eat. Secondly, Enlightenment is only half of the journey. One must come "Down from the mountain." Nearly everything I know about meditation was learned after disrobing. And why so much hate? You should call me.

Your a business model of ill repute. Not a qualified teacher. You can't transmit anything more than a average social worker. Own it. You need to let go the up and down the mountain stuff. I apologize to anyone out there who takes my bluntness/sincerity as hatefulness.

Please don't confuse my life with that of a Buddhist. I'm just a guy trying not to waste the extremely rare skills and knowledge I've obtained while helping others the best I can. I now work 40 hrs a week in the IT field and would love to be able to spend that time helping others

You said it not me. You work in the IT field and you want to break into the spiritual self help industry with no qualifications or backing from anyone with qualifications. I'm just giving you free publicity.

Thinking is just choosing how to react to how we choose to interpret things. We all have different life experiences, and when forming thoughts we're limited to drawing from them. I can offer to help you learn more about yourself, not magically change your current mental habits.

I’m almost starting to like Todd

I challenge anyone to walk up to a Roshie and say "I studied Rinzai in my spare time." C'mon! What am I to do with that? It's funny. [Todd is editing his website as we speak]
