May I ask what the words refer to when you post your lovely pictures? Number/object - is it a divination thing?

Fascinating stuff. Did/do day-keepers have other rôles outside that of meaning interpretion/divination? Perhaps healing or shamanistic responsibilities - so often there is overlap between people who are healers and capable of intermediation/interpretation.

yes, the day-keepers are shaman (men as well as women) and head up the ceremonies. they are usually chosen and trained while still young.
