Fascinating stuff. Did/do day-keepers have other rôles outside that of meaning interpretion/divination? Perhaps healing or shamanistic responsibilities - so often there is overlap between people who are healers and capable of intermediation/interpretation.
It sounds like a v.practical, holistic system. Indicative of the sort of communities these things often develop in. Thank you for your very interesting response
