Been reflecting on this, I think this mystical richness is reflected in the notion of sambhogakāya - the sphere of enrichment, the enjoyment body. Beyond the appearance of normal life, there is a subtle energy to the movements in/of awareness, which is inherently delicious.

In my experience, Sambhogakaya isn’t a notion. It can be a linguistic context but also a way to experience presentness.

Yes. Although ‘a way to experience presentness’ is just one if the many experiential forays symbolised linguistically by the notion of sambhogakaya - which as I’m sure you know, can be used variously to explain/signpost experiences in some of the later yogic methods, and so on

Perhaps notion is the wrong word to use....although ‘a concept or belief about something’ probably fits the bill quite well here. Anyway, thanks for highlighting the primacy of experience. You must be practicing well if you are experiencing Sambhogakāya! Go Johnny, go go go!
