      I don’t even know what myself is half the time, so I just try to act kindly and speak harmoniously with the echoes of the sphere, do my practice, relate to the teacher, behave harmoniously with the movements in the sphere - I’m not convinced that honesty is desired in community

      People are at different developmental plateaus in a sangha. For me, decoupling behavior from feelings can be a skillful guideline in sangha

      Yes, decoupling behaviour and feelings is nearly always a skilful guideline, in so far that feeling can inform behaviour, but it normally just drives it completely. I agree. Although, it is much more complicated than that. Sorry for detailing your original tweet @YudronWangmo.
