Buddhist/meditation nerds did any of you ever come across the text attributed to Guru Rinpoche _ Notes on Vital Points_ which discusses ‘Nyingma system of Mahamudra’? Was studying some Tsele Natsok Rangdrol today and he referenced it.

I haven’t, but would be fascinated to hear about it! I only know of the later and more famous Karma Chagme text abt the “Union of Dzogchen and Mahamudra,” but not a “Nyingma Mahamudra,” which sounds more unexpected

Yeah I’ve seen things here and there and it’s common enough for some Kagyu-Nyingma teachers. TNR was quite influential on Jigme Lingpa in this area also, applying the four yogas of mahamudra to dzogchen instruction, but never could find that text he cited. Mostly just curious.
