Behaviors of caring for others. This occurs prior to context. Prayer is causal. Even though there is no God, it's useful to pray to God.

As in, it has causal effects but they occur prior to knowing what world or sense of self you will have. Example: does this lead to kind thoughts at a basketball game or the next time you're abused in traffic?

Oh I see what you mean now. Yes that makes sense....sort of like your natural responsiveness becomes sensitive to the possibility of different ways of perceiving/being in a situation (talking very loosely).
