Liz said reflexive re:finance. Soros developed an idea based on the fallibility of markets, which he calls the theory of reflexivity, and credits with his success as a trader. He wrote about it in The Alchemy of Finance in the eighties, but it became better known after 2008

Soros gets credit for reflexivity but Singleton understood it intuitively AND knew how to manage narrative to bend it to his own will. Anyway give his stuff a read if you’re interested in finance at all, I like his writing. Helps if you read it in his accent in your head.
