I've recently started doing regular Zikr practice under the guidance an old Imam, who I originally got connected with by some kind folks @ Harvard Divinity School. Never thought I'd be exploring the monotheistic mysticism of my ancestors, but this is where the path has taken me.

In fairness I was mostly entertaining myself. A favourite example of religious behaviour as stimming+god are those people who pray by rocking back and forth It would be interesting to hear your experience of that devotion practice if you keep it up & feel like sharing
