Haha, perhaps if I were on the spectrum I'd get the joke. Certainly applies to many of my friends. 
In fairness I was mostly entertaining myself. A favourite example of religious behaviour as stimming+god are those people who pray by rocking back and forth It would be interesting to hear your experience of that devotion practice if you keep it up & feel like sharing
