Based on first few paragraphs, I'm seeing resonance with this article that I quite appreciated, which (as "The Coming Age of Prayer" suggests) also predicts an imminent surge in prayer-like practices. That's a nice parallel. I'm not a mathematician but I think I can grok the point. I like the language of waiting for silence to grant an answer - and I think it gets at why prayer can be a good learning environment for opening beyond the usual grasping habits.
