If anybody wants to defend an articulation of Enlightenment absent ethics, and can do so persuasively, I'm keen to arrange a 'dharma combat' in the coming months on the subject.

I wouldn't recommend inviting enlightened people with mental disorders into Dharma combat, they might leap across the table and choke you unconscious for defining enlightenment wrong.

The only people I know who understand why Buddhist ‘ethics’ is limited also realize enlightenment talk is usually bunkum.
