Just did a quick google and it looks like it’s got a 1.5 crop - 75mm equivalent is a nice focal length for portraits or whatever, so it’s probably perfect. I don’t shoot digital very much, but my tip (which you probably already know) is to underexpose a little
I appreciate the tip, I think I’ve probably been doing that mostly unknowingly, out of taste and/or lack of skill. I hadn’t heard of that, so thanks.

No worries - slightly more detail: I think I took the best digital shots by putting the camera in aperture priority and then adding like a -1 stop exposure compensation
