oh wait i'm thinking of my minolta 50/1.7 .. i've heard that one is good too and have been tempted to get it. i have .. a 50mm lens problem :O
I’m taking it out to play tomorrow - should be fun. I can see how one could get _very_ into the gear. I’ve been very well behaved so far.

i'm normally not a huge gearfetishist, but i am a fetishist for older robust vintage designs, which also happen to be crazy cheap, so it's hard to resist.. i have 17 50mm primes alone, lmfao

Haha, I guess the hugeness of your gearfetish is relative then. A friend said that the standard of optics in old prime lenses is way underpriced compared to modern lenses, especially as I’m shooting manual anyway.
