I have never particularly resonated with the idea that we need to accept death and trying to meditate on it has never given me much in particular- I think it’s best construed as a dualistic framing of emptiness
Interesting thought. I’ve been reflecting on reflecting on death recently ever since I told a friend I’d share some notes about it, and then promptly found out that I was assuming a lot re: effects there of. The idea of death to can be productive for different means/ends.

Been thinking a lot about this. We fear death because the linear and inexorable experience of the time dimension fools us into thinking it different from space. We model death as cessation of movement through time, we never think about space. But outside of us they’re the same.
