Why is it a horrible idea? Yes I’m into fighting
It isn't that I doubt that there are/would be people who out-class men of the same weight at a professional level (this is far more normal at lower skill levels, women make men look silly in the gym everyday),my main objection: I think the moral hazard for that precedent is huge.

Well that is a component of it yes, and I'm not claiming that isn't an unemotional or correct response. I'm open to being shown why that concern isn't prescient. But I was thinking of the promotional, fight business side of things, especially re: the litany of bad organisations.

Although my immediate response is to think 'but hormones?!' or whatever, I basically think people are probably too dumb to be trusted with erasing the norm of 'men shouldn't hit women'. Maybe I'm too dumb to see the upside

On this particular point it’s good to remember that men shouldn’t hit men either. most people do understand pro violence is different to personal violence. And men hit women all the time already (domestic) and women could do with understanding what violence really means.
