On occasion, though not intentionally if that's what you were asking.

I'll ask my friend about this next time I see him (in about a week). He studied dream yoga with B. Allan Wallace and got pretty good at it from what I understand. this is probably approximately the same tradition that @misen__ learned.

Yes, probably v.similar IIRC Wallace has both Buddhist (dream & sleep yogas) training, and Western (w/ LaBerge) There is a book by Andrew Holececk, which I was quite impressed by, but that includes extra Buddhist stuff which you might not want/need, to learn lucid dreaming.

I’m less capable at lucid dreaming than I am at sleep yoga - which is like lucid dreamless sleep. So there is probably a lot of nuance about lucid dreaming that I don’t know. LaBerge is worth looking up. I like the story of how they tested for lucidity in the lab 👀

Try this: Put your body to sleep, create a dream and enter it. Work within the dream changing aspects of it. Destroy the dream and explore consciousness sans a visual storyline. Now awaken your body into a hypnagogic state & repeat that cycle all while maintaining consciousness.
