Fascination with something visual, resulting in a desire to look at it more. (It is highly idiosyncratic to me that this is unusual. I think this is an incredibly normal experience for most people but it happens like low single digit times per year for me)
Very cool that you've noticed this. Can you remember the last visual which really invoked a desire to look at it more? I would guess most people resonate with the idea of visual fascination more than they actually behave as such.

"how stuff is made" style videos and faces with an interesting range of expression are the two examples that come to mind but I couldn't tell you exactly the last time those happened. I got distracted by how good someone's facial expressions were some time this year I think.

I think we might be at the opposite poles for this one so I find it fascinating. I'm near pathological for getting absorbed in visual stuff. Like eye contact can be so distracting from verbal information, because faces/eyes are so incredibly intricate.
