This is interesting. Not so much the sexuality/gender part (for me). When I go to think about it, I’m left in a sort of unknowing. I sometimes think of friendship as someone you’re well connected with across times/contexts - not necessarily without tension, but full & ‘true’.
It’s sort of like the ‘truth’ of the freindship is the heat born of by virtue of fullness, mutually-empowering interaction, continuing co-augmentation.
I’m probably both idealistic and cynical about this stuff; people I mistook for freinds have disappointed me many times, so
