Hmm, when I read ‘cultural translation’ I (mistakenly?) read simply swapping one set of cultural norms and reference points for another. Vajrayana Culture here is intended to mean one that addresses issues from a Vajrayana standpoint, rather than Tibetan/US/European/a.n.other one
