My current suspicion is that Parkinsons isn't caused by microbes/bacteria/virus/fungal invaders, but shows all the symptoms of having a disrupted microbiome ecosystem, hence showing up with skin smells acting as a possible early diagnostic. https://twitter.com/ultimape/status/936437839708983296 …

There's also a lot to be said about how CO2 levels seem to change cortisol signaling via action on the amygdala. I think that might be why see SIBO and Yeast issues crop up as rumor'd causal issues. Perhaps it's just amplifying existing underlying issues?https://twitter.com/ultimape/status/1115272951195213825 …

I don't think *all* autism symptoms are caused by yeast overgrowth. But my suspicion about autism in general is it's an immune system regulation issue impacting mitochonrial function - hence why we see high levels of dysbiosis. The candidia and SIBO seems more like a symptom.

Cortisol regulation is weird in autism, schizophrenia, and diabetes type 2/pcos. I think a portion of 'inherited' is via vertical microbiome transfer; is perhaps what the genetic inheritance is giving a proclivity for. This whole thread is really about trying to figure out why CBD oil seems to reduce my stress & help me sleep. TL;DR: I may have figured out a way to fix my sleep issues medicinally. The only other thing is red wine. Following in @tferriss's footsteps.https://invidio.us/watch?v=cmHFa0W89II …

I can't find any direct links between CBD oil and cortisol reduction. So I've been exploring other ways it might be impacting my sleep issue. I suspect I have an imbalance in how my body maintains some neruochemicals.https://twitter.com/ultimape/status/667904410887036928 …

Do you have any recommendations re: CBD dosing? I've been avoiding that hype train because quality control is terrible in the UK, but you are making me want to try it.

Seems to vary based on the condition. I can't speak for dosing because I'm not really a doctor. Oddly its easier to find research on dogs and arthritis and anxiety reduction than anything else more complex. There's good literature on epilepsy out there.

I don't think my dosing recomendation would be a good way to go. Too much triggers anxiety in me. I think it overwhelms serotonin production and triggers intestinal problems for the same reason there's a suspicion it may help with IBS and menstrual pain.
