Explain to me hot sauce on eggs, I've never tried it but I've seen a few people claim this is a shameful delight. Is this divisive egg proclivity? Egg abuse?

I used to call bullshit but then a Thai friend made me a sort of crispy noodle omelette thing with spring onions, sesame, chillis, garlic and toppped with their homemade sriracha. It was so good & converted me on the spot. See also: good egg tacos.
