I guess I can't count or read since it's actually day 9. It's not the greatest, but in comparison I finally feel like I've got a good ideapic.twitter.com/I36EZ1fztC

things i changed: •switched to most generic butter i could find •starting out over screaming heat •aggressive and violently shaking pan while stirring in grandma yarn work pattern listening to brutal death metalhttps://youtu.be/bpIE2ERudpA
i am trying to continue with a vision of the perfect omelette, which has a fine smooth grain. instead of being so floppy, it would be like a stout dakimakura full of fuffy, custardy eggs. i will not be satisfied until i produce it
Day 10. Progress has been made. The next hurdle is the final handle roll to prevent such an uneven finishpic.twitter.com/rPRX0jlTJc
Day 11. Clearly feeling gains, I can see victory. Uneven spread caused some tearing but overall happy with the shape and texture. More like the egg love pillow I imagine it should be.pic.twitter.com/Bm7EmRrt59
Day 12, undercooked slightly because I was catastrophically hungry and didn't give it long enough. Consequence of impatience is my omelette looking like it has some weird afterbirthpic.twitter.com/n3lxtjnYvt
day 13. working on presentation.pic.twitter.com/zhFiHELz6S
Day 14. I'm close, need to even out spread to get a better cylindrical shape but texture, color and taste are pretty much there.pic.twitter.com/izY6EmS9UJ
Day 15. Halfway through!! Would be lying if I said I wasn't proud of this one, even acknowledging I missed the perfect seam drop. Learning how to properly taper the ends, could've done better but the texture was perfectopic.twitter.com/MVbTpX3kgm
You’re doing really well buddy, that day 15 omelette looks fantastic. Hard to know from a picture — so I can’t really rate — but judging by how glossy/smooth it looks, I’m assuming it was nice and soft. (Thanks for reminding me I need to buy a new non-stick) Are these 3 egg?
they have been recently but the lion's share of them has been 5 just because my only non-stick skillet is so large
