Writers! Do you have anything you do (rituals, setups, etc) to make the act of writing more frictionless? Or to at least make it somewhat easier to convince yourself to actually do it?

I'm not a professional writer, but I read a card with a quote from Dan Harmon: 'you're having a hard time writing is because of a conflict between the goal of writing well and the fear of writing badly.' And now I know what to do about that, which is to write badly and then edit.

Once I'm actually writing I get into an enjoyable state and the momentum carries me for a while. I'm still learning how to get the writing to not completely suck, but I'm not writing in order to share my stuff, I'm trying to learn what I think, so...
