coping strategies are complexity filters, right? The raw data is still as complex as ever, but the individual has visibility on a model to interface with?

Trying to explain to my brother how I built a model for human interaction from the ground up as a teen. It’s still a ‘coping strategy’, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t have utility. He probably has some other model of human interaction, except it’s implicit.
