      that said i would recommend steak to anyone in concert with lifting. regardless of your diet, you need a strong argument against the absolute utility of steak in terms of money, time and gains. i have lost just shy of 9.5 lb in a month of steak and experienced hypertrophy.

      this is tangential to steak, but i also feel very much accomplished in my kitchen technique gains. it has been a deeply rewarding experience learning how to properly sear a slab of beef. it's even fun to look at early failures and compare it to later successes. i love gains!!pic.twitter.com/r2TNXV81Ih

      all this said i am very much ready to move on. i have made upwards of 40 steaks so far, i'm fairly confident in technique and taste and am now ready to move onto new and fun stuff that i'm extremely excited for
