Which is to say, meditation can also deepen your infatuation with your own narrative, leaving less openness to encounter others. But maybe that's meditation, unskillfully practiced? Or lacking the support of complementary practices
Thats an interesting point, maybe because it decouples ‘openness to encounter’ from spoken communication.
It’s a tricky topic. I have also met people for whom deep contemplative practice has contributed to incredible communicative skill... so
