No, you're definitely on to something. Using the "=" was a grave mistake, knew it right as I pressed Tweet. I know too many contemplatives that've grown to appreciate the sound of their own voice more as they've deepened their practice.
Which is to say, meditation can also deepen your infatuation with your own narrative, leaving less openness to encounter others. But maybe that's meditation, unskillfully practiced? Or lacking the support of complementary practices
