Book groups might be an obvious example, but ‘physical’ clubs - eg: sports clubs - seem more successful for quality friend search/matching. Why? Implicit trait trust > explicit interest proximity?

Lots in there to reflect on. Something I’ll probably re-listen to in the week. I do like the term sparring partner, and that sort of relationship seems different to peer:peer and mentor:mentee, although I suppose the same two people may also fulfil those roles at different times
