According to new #autismresearch, social difficulties in #autism may contribute to troubles with daily tasks such as:
brushing teeth
navigating public transportation

A lot of 'adaptive strategies' are picked up socially, or usefully mimicked, or done 'just because'. If every adaptive strategy has to be planned, assessed, practiced in a deliberate way IQ is useful, but the process can be exhausting.
