A couple of new nonfiction books seem to adopt a “panic and apocalyptic thinking are good” posture (The Uninhabitable Earth, The Worst is Yet to Come... others?) Collapsecore? Collapsepunk? Collapse thinking is always around on margins, but now appears to be merging to trunk.
