I appreciate his take on how the victimhood culture congealed into the auto-immune hellscape that it is — very insightful — but I was surprised how wildly unnuanced his sales pitch for meditating for happiness is “Meditation has only good effects” “all natural and costs nothing”

Yeah, right. The meditation hype sucks almost universally & he's no different I guess. He's spot on with the victimhood cult though, isn't he? His recent chat with Joe Rogan is worth a listen.

Indeed. Yes I listened to some of that interview; he has a talent for conveying abstract — and 'waffle adjacent' — ideas in pretty accessible terms.
