There are some systems which have this feature built in to them, where they expect people to have more insight experiences when not in formal meditation, which then informs the formal practice. Trungpa had something similar to this in his public instruction, post ‘72 IIRC.

sounds good. As Ginsberg said on the topic of meditation experiences in general, 'keep your hardon under your hat'. Will be fun for you to see how this unfolds in practice, I suspect. Alas, I'm not qualified to be a teacher, so what I have to say should be heavily brined.
