I’ve been preparing the Christmas bibimbap. Soaked the go-sah-ri (fernbracken) twice as long as usual (a day) and it was better for it. Texture is chewy and soft, less fibrous.pic.twitter.com/KeZxiIIuDo

This sounds fantastic! Did you pick/dry the fernbracken or did you buy it? I’ve cooked with it fresh but never tried preserving it.

Bought it dried from a Korean supermarket. It’s a little old now so I prepared all the remaining & put some in freezer for next time. I would *love* to use it fresh. Imagine the flavour is superb.
