    Saying programming languages are just tools is to completely ignore the human aspect of how developers think, read, write and communicate w/ others. Programming languages are ways of expressing ideas. Can't express the same idea with the same thinking in two distinct languages.

        It's very true. It's very interesting to view the activity of programming with clarity; the mind is filled with all these abstract cognitions that sort-of have spatial qualities to them, but the space they're referencing is the space in the structure of the program.
