the US navy will be almost completely shut down. Comms will be shut down, the internet will be crashed,, e-lint will go down, drones won't work worth shit. In conditions of battlefield blindness Americans will be crushed. And modern missiles will hit and devastate continental US.

Slightly overstated because by a Russian patriot, but I substantially find "Losing Military Supremacy" by Martyanov useful. Comms is just from a variety of articles, etc...
but there is good reason to believe the Russians can take out US sattelites in event of war, and keep AWACS down. That will be disastrous. Not sure if the Chinese can yet, probably not, but in 10 years, they probably will be.
