NOM! Does she use evap milk &/or real cream? I made one last week with butter and coconut sugar. It turned out quite well, but I used evap milk for the first time, due to some online research. (Deliah.) I think that was a mistake in retrospect. I shall return to cream next time.

Yeah my aunt swears by evap, but I stick to the family recipe which uses cream. I’ve not tried evap yet. I also like the St.John recipe where you make a caramel first and then combine w/ rice+cream+milk, and then bake - but it isn’t my ‘go to’.
