      from what little I know - using low direct current to 'prod a neuron’s activity in a desired direction'. My only two reference points are a study done on treatment resistant depression, by a lab in Manchester, and the exploration of tDCS for autism. I intend to read up.

      Stimulation parameters, pulse width, site protocols, method of action... they were cowboying the lot. Of course, these uncontrolled disasters, sorry, EXPERIMENTS, were reported entirely in sensible and sober terms.

      Heh, duly noted. I'm a dullard, but I have enough smart friends to have learnt that one needs to be cautious around scientific literature - especially within psychology - because: cowboys, sensible words, shiny graphs. Do you know anyone doing not-terrible tDCS research?
