on the one hand, the practice of Twitter can result in shallow thinking, group-think, hyper-emotionality, social outrage, and the like. on the other, it can train one in concise expression. this was esp true in the days of the 140 char limit.
Those of us who learned our twitter chops in those days have an unfair advantage. Sorry newbees!
Pre-280 I assumed tweet-ideas behave like gas, expanding to fill the container. But I was wrong; still plenty of concision knocking about.
