Yes, although thats no reason to despair - I'm a fan of trying. I suppose that theology has just shown less crossover with my areas of interest thus far. Also, I sympathise with Kaufman's somewhat dated & harsh view, saying that theology is concerned with a lot of gerrymandering.
Of course I'm the first to highlight just how thick my skull is, and I don't pretend my experience with any given field is indicative of anything except my own capacities and willingness to engage.
