I am fond of both groups but not a member. I definitely can relate to this piece. As for Catholic contemporary mystics, I am not really aware of any who are not somehow Zen influenced (or Heideggerian).
I’m curious what a Heideggarian Christian Mystic is? Did Heidegger have a strong influence on a subset of Christian monks or something? I’d appreciate any information - thank you sir.

A great deal of Catholic theology has Heidegger as a key influence, for example Karl Rahner, Jean Luc Marion, and Rene Girard. So in that way, yes, there are monks who have taken on Heideggarian understandings of their practice.
