After talking w/ @spacecrone about trauma, it occurred to me that I neglected to consider which meditation teachers offer techniques & framings conducive to resolving trauma without presenting/selling it as the main focus of the practice.

Equanimity practices seem to help, but I'm not sure that's "the cure". First awakening did little for my trauma except that it made me aware the trauma wasn't "me". Second path is where you start making binding conditioning non-binding, which is why it seems to deal w/Trauma.

That said, I'm not sure it's the faster/better path. Good pyschotherapy, if you can get it, is probably faster and has a good chance of being more pleasant. The meditation trauma path (which I've been on for the last 4 years) seems to mostly involve staring it in the face.
