i mean, take the various dhyana: the Buddhists now have 8 of them. But there were tons more of them, they are written of, and mostly we don't know what they were. Or when Chan Mahayanna guys wrote about Hinayana stuff they were very clear their enlightments were different.

I'll second that sentiment. Enjoyed lurking through that thread. Perhaps someone would be interested in doing a podcast with you guys? I'd watch it. Not many westerners seem to have this type of convo.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH This is a really funny idea, actually. Ian and I certainly have an interesting dynamic. Both equally opinionated, one vastly more competent. I'm not sure if I have any redeeming qualities, but it would probably be fun for others regardless. I'll ask Ian.
